It's wholesome and holesome at the same time.

The drawn comic in the last panel has 'The Spider' written on it, as well as an arrow pointing to it.

The spider also has Gregor's hat for some reason.

Do all of these comics have a spider? How have I not noticed? Also you commented basically what I was going to comment. It's both.

As far as I can tell, almost all of them do. The spider's sometimes hidden in the most clever spots, that you'd never be able to spot it upon the first glance.

that guy is wrong, if anything, we like any comics that are relatable enough
that's why shen comix (aka owlturd), the "oh no" comics, and similar ones get picked up a lot
