While that may look like a pattern, it’s not. It’s pure, randomness. It doesn’t matter where the tickets are purchased, or how many tickets are purchased; every single one has the exact same odds of winning. If 1 billion people purchased a lottery ticket in San Francisco and one person, purchases a lottery ticket in Podunk, Arkansas, they both have the exact same odds of winning. Where the ticket was purchased and/or population is irrelevant.
