OK, I googled temps during the Dust Bowl. The high temps during the Dust Bowl happened mostly on the central plains of the U.S. and Canada. This was caused by lack of moisture in the air. Dry air heats up more quickly than humid air. The high temps during the Dust Bowl were not a worldwide event.

This is true it was not worldwide. But there have been periods when the earth was hotter.
