And the bitch of it is that once we're behind that inflation spike and our first raise is (of course) way less than the inflation, our wages never catch up. Well, they could catch up with something like a 15% raise, but is that going to happen?

Yes, we are under water trying to save money and have cut back in so many areas.

Yes! And of course, unlike the federal govt, families have to live with a balanced budget, which can mean pretty drastic cuts in spending. Too bad the lying politicians in DC don't have to do the same..

I think the idiots among us (aka libtards) will look at current inflation numbers and think Dementia Joe has done a good job reducing inflation, even though he had nothing to do with that . It will take an effective communicator to explain to them that they're still being screwed from a wages standpoint, because of the previous inflation he saddled us with. It's almost impossible for wages to catch up.
