Trump got paid $0.00 for 4 years President. Everyone should know this basic fact.

1. Well no but also yes. He got paid $400k per year just like any other president would have.. but he donated it back to the government.

2. The 400k salary he donated was pocket change compared to the millions and millions of dollars he made while president..... He made over $82 Million dollars in Scotland and Ireland alone.

3. When the president and people in the government or secret service go anywhere, they have to stay at hotels and other resorts. Trump would have them stay at HIS hotels and resorts. So when the government paid the bill, all that taxpayer money went into his pockets.

Everyone should know this basic fact.

Actually there is no indication that Trump donated his salary. Other than his campaign pledge, which, as we all know...

Eh... Forbes claims he wrote a bunch of personal checks at various press events and has actual details of which specific federal agencies the checks went to for every quarter.... up until Q3 and Q4 of 2020.

So at the very least it would appear he donated an amount of $ equal to most of his salary.... I mean assuming he didn't do something wild like cancelling the checks after the press event... but I tend to think if that happened word would've gotten out about it pretty quickly.

Q2: $100,000 to the Department of Education

Q3: $100,000 to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)

Q4: $100,000 to the Department of Transportation
