What's amusing, is that you actually think you are winning this debate. The falsely labelled insurrectionists were unarmed by any sane standard. All the rest is just leftist smoke and mirrors aimed at gulling inherent non-thinkers.

Actually quite a few were, and some of those arrested had been charged with gun possession. Some also had guns and explosives stashed elsewhere, like in their cars or hotel rooms.
As pointed out by Xiao, others improvised, dual purposing their pepper spray cans to pummel with as well as fire extinguishers and even American flags.

People with common sense look at guns inside cars or in hotel rooms -- presumably registered and legal -- as NOT being on the person protesting; and hence the unarmed protester -- gasp! -- was not armed. This seems to be a difficult concept for the Left to grasp . . . but I'm sure that eventually they will figure it out.

"mags" referring to metal detectors at the National Mall. They were limiting entrance of those arriving to attend his January 6 speech.

This was DC, mind you, where open carry is illegal. District of Columbia Concealed Carry Pistol Licenses (CCPLs) & appved training are required in order to conceal carry.

Any yet nobody else can or will independently verify her fable. That's what ALL of the charges against Trump invented by the Left amount to in the end. A lone person CLAIMS to have been privy to a comment or a conversation that nobody else will agree ever occurred.

Carrying guns is resticted in DC, and the National Mall is not excluded. Trump's concerns about resticting admission might have been more about the optics, as he wanted the place as full as possible for pics, a repeat of the visuals of Inauguration 2017 not being high on Trump's bucket list.

And as stated, many in the riot crowd were carrying guns and have been charged and convicted for it. They had them stashed in their cars and rooms as well.

In other words, you're saying that when people parse for themselves whether or not 1/6 was an armed event, they're supposed to ignore the legal definition of "weapon," that the legal definition of "weapon" isn't a "sane standard" now that it's become an inconvenience for you. Yeah, you're not winning if the foundation of your argument requires everyone make their evaluations based on "because CH's OPINION" rather than fact & reality; it's that rejection of fact & reality in favor of the contents of your imagination which invalidates your entire comment.
