Teachers forcing children into gender re-assignment; not a thing.
Catholic priests raping children to this day: an actual thing.

And that sounds like a great place to identify and start grooming kids for later abuse.

The church is declaring bankruptcy in multiple states to avoid having to pay hundreds upon hundreds of known sexual assault victims.

The first cases started being reported in the 50s. It wasn't until the 90s they were taken seriously.

Like Daniel Curran in Ireland. He was suspended in the 80s after the 10th boy came forward.

Curran later pled guilty in the early 2000s to sexual abuse of children going back to the 70s.

He wasn't a one-off. He was part of a pattern of abuse and coverup by the Church.

You're probably Catholic. I get it, it's hard to confront a reality of an institution you were conditioned to obey and support without questioning.
