This sounds like a good idea if people are posting inappropriate images anonymously and people can’t find out who they are to ban them

i feel like it'd be unnecessary. sure, ppl abusing it can be annoying, but there are times when comments should be disabled

that's why it's a stream-by-stream basis. if it's absolutely necessary to disable comments it probably shouldn't be posted in such a stream anyways

i'm saying that, sometimes harassers go to other streams to attack someone trying to do their thing. i just really don't feel like this is needed, it's restricting mods of their abilities. if a mod is abusing it, it's that the mod is a bad one.

I'm starting to struggle to understand exactly what you're saying. I got the first sentence, but everything after that is hard to read.

basically: if someone uses the ability to disable comments wrongly, it's the mod's fault and not the ability's.

this would be nice.
