If you love God, you must reject the ungodly, whatever it's manifestation, sexual or otherwise. Consider the examples of Ananias and Sapphira, Lot's wife, or Onan. They each held back "only a little", and each perished nonetheless.
We all have sinful temptations, it's part of out fallen nature. But we must be working to overcome those impulses, not embracing them. Sexually speaking, the purpose of those organs and those acts is to reproduce. We know this because that is the natural outcome of the acts. Therefore, those acts are Holy only within a Sacramental Marriage and open to the possibility of children. Acts outside of those conditions are sinful, be it adultery (sex outside a marriage if you are married), fornication (sex outside a Marriage), sodomy, onanism (including birth control methods of any sort), etc...
So a man might be attracted to a woman other than his wife (completely heterosexual) and still not go to Heaven. Or be using a birth control method with his wife and not go to Heaven,
