I saw a bunch of tweets about it from leftist activists. They basically said DeSantis is using it to make the trans community look bad and take away their rights. Which was kinda funny because the bill said nothing about it being related to transgenders…
I suppose the idea was to make anything DeSantis does appear as a transphobic move but it kinda backfired.

These days you're more likely to get thrown in jail for hitting on full grown women than you are for hitting on kids. 🤦‍♂️
