Funny- it seems like socialism, in all its iterations, leads to widespread death and destruction...

But it wasn't real socialism. When real socialism is applied everyone receives a free pony that shits rainbows.

I don't think anyone has the exact number. There are different estimates, but it is still clear Mao is the winner with Stalin coming in second.

Mao and Stalin did kill a lot of people, but keep in mind that a lot of that was due to famine and incompetence, not outright extermination like the Holocaust

Nazi work camps and concentration camps starved plenty of people to death. Not just Jews but Communists, Gypsies, prisoners of war, political dissidents, Jehovah's Witnesses, homosexuals, etc. were worked and starved to death.

Yes. Letting people starve is a much more efficient way to kill people. Saves on bullets and manpower.

Since Ukrainians are the "victims of the year," perhaps you should look into the Holodomor. Or the Soviet Gulags. Or the "Great Leap Forward." Or the Tiananmen Square massacre. Or the Khmer Rouge. Or literally any other communist and socialist regime. Take your pick.

Also, why are you defending communism? And don't say "WeLL i"M nOt dEFenDiNg iT" because you certainly are. "Making excuses for" is the same as "defending" something.
