Not to mention the participation in influence peddling.....maybe he will forget to run.

I think the DNC plan will be to swap out the VP and run the new D3 (democrat dynamic duo) with the foreknowledge Joe will transition to the netherworld and the "identity" chosen VP will assume the helm.

They could find a reason to just do video interviews and diplomatic visits and no in person appearances by using CGI even though he's incoherent or deceased.
