given the often self-destructive nature of a lot of them, many of those deaths are more likely to be situational than actually trans-related.

For example if a prostitute trans gets strangled by a schizo customer in an alley way in downtown chicago at 3am, thats classed as a transgender murder... or even if the criminal didn't know they were trans...that still counts

Its sort of like gun crime where suicides are included. If you account for nuance and context the issue diminishes rapidly

I am not in the least concerned about any non violent citizen being armed.

Anyone that is armed and makes threats of violence, should be investigated.

There's a difference between convincing people to abandon an ideology/get a condition treated and genocide and you know it.

Republicans preventing trans people from getting the treatment they need qualifies as genocide.

That's people who identify as trans, whether they fit the bill or not. Out of 300 million people, that's less than 1% of the population.
