You cannot take a few far-right trolls and make it like condoning the murder of gay people is a typical thing of the moderate right. That is like taking ISIS terror attacks and demonizing Muslims in general also, with the large amount of Antifa rioting that happened in the summer of 2020 in major cities, people have grist to their mill to paint the left as violent extremists a lot more than you have with a few far-right trolls to demonize the right.
