Almost a fair point, but no. If someone truly wants to ban books, I've not heard of it. They want to prevent certain books and certain topics from being presented in schools for certain grade levels. Personally I do not favor that, since I don't believe in censorship. However, to compare that to firearms makes absolutely no logical sense. Using that 'logic', you're doing nothing more than saying it's okay for kids to bring firearms to school, which I'm pretty sure you're against, and I'm against, even though I am a strong believer in the 2nd amendment.
