I'm a conservative and I asked because that is exactly what I would do in real life - f**kin' ask them. If I don't know I'm not going to use gender specific pronouns until I do know. I don't do it out of any woke sympathy to any cause, in today's environment it's just good job security and I like having a paycheck twice a month.
