All good points

Regarding the last one, it's pretty simple. The vast majority of the audience for p0rn are male, so women obviously get more money

Yeah. A lot of people like to make it seem like everything is pointed at their argument, but in reality, a lot is going on. It's never that simple

Whenever this question gets asked, if they bother to respond to it at all, it's with the usual deflection;
"Pfft, typical misogynist incel talking point! Why don't you do some research and come up with a *real* argument?"

They never *actually* answer the question.

For the same reason that most companies these days could quite happily slash executive pay by half and the going concern would not be affected at all - but do they?

No where near the same in comparison. Can you articulate how an hourly employee is the same as a salaried manager?

"In the 1970's, conventional business wisdom in America clearly stated that the top CEO should make no more than 50 times the salary of its lowest paid employee."

Not that I find anything wrong with such a practice, but exactly where did you hear that this was the stated convention business wisdom back then?

Because if the company slashes the executive's pay in half, there's every chance they will lose that executive to another company. Good executives are to a corporation what NBA players are to the NBA.

So the original question still remains despite your attempt to alter it. If they could hire equally skilled female executives for 20% less, why wouldn't they? Stockholders would love them.

No. Good executives are to corporations what executives are to the NBA. The athletes are more akin to the people to who the actual production of a company - the technicians, the engineers, the laborers - and their salary has NOT been rising by hundreds or thousands of times since the 70's.

Average NBA player salary in 1970 was $35,000. Average NBA player salary last year was $9.662 million.

Regardless, nothing you said counters the fact that if you slash executive salaries by too much, they're gonna jump to other companies that are willing to pay them what they want.

Great. now look up the median salary of an engineer working for GE in the 1970s and that of now. Then reread the thread until you see what I'm getting at. Take your time.

I get that you're ignoring my answer to your question because you can't refute it. Didn't take any time at all.

The question was "Can you articulate how an hourly employee is the same as a salaried manager?"
That isn't an answer just generic y'all about something else. As expected

What is the difference between an hourly employee and a salaried manager? In your mind are they the same in terms of duties, expectations, and work?

Never mind it sounds like you're saying companies WANT to pay their CEOs high salaries. If a woman can be paid less and still get the job done, that's what corporations will go for.
What's the difference between a male employee and a female employee?
