I remember when the population bomb was going to starve the planet to death in the 1970s, when acid rain and deforestation would destroy all plant life in the 1980s, when schools would run out of food in the 1990s, global warming would kill us in the 2000s, and now regular weather will get us in 2020s? Don't worry kids, in 25 years the Dems will be telling you oxygen is running out, the sun is too round, or plate tectonics will kill your children. Theses political hacks want to scare you into voting for them for life, not fixing any issues.... real or imagined.

there is no need for proof. It’s called fear mongering. An appeal to people’s fear. Appealing to emotions removes the need for logical explanations.
