And its a lie every time.

Oh that's right, you said the other month W Bush never had any plans to eliminate or alter Social Security!

Reagan made 10s of 1000s - many of them vets - homeless by slashing these programs.

Oh hell no, communists have invaded both political parties to discredit them for decades now. When you see RINO, start thinking communist. Communist Party Goals of 1963 read into the Congressional Record Goal #15. Catholic Pedo priests? Goal #25, 26, 27 & 28. The Founding Fathers were evil slave owners and the Constitution enshrined evil slavery and evil evilness? Goal# 29, 30, 31. Discredit the FBI (remember James Comey "was" a communist in his younger days) Goal#35. Take police power away from law enforcement and transfer it to social workers? Goal# 38 And transfer US soveriegn power to the likes of the World Court, the WHO, the World Bank, the UN? Why that would be Goal# 45.
So tell me how it feels to be a useful idiot for communist dictators? If you're tough enough read what happens to useful idiots, they quickly become useless idiots and a threat to the thugs in charge, just like Che and Castro executed thousands of people on their side, Lenin and Stalin, Chairman Mao killed their millions. Your political allies hate you, but they won't tell you because they are using you.

Larry, LArry. LARRY. Look at what you just wrote. $8 trillion in tax cuts? Do your research.
The U.S. government's total revenue is estimated to be $4.71 trillion for FY 2023. 1. Per the White House's projections, income taxes are slated to contribute $2.35 trillion. Another $1.59 trillion will come from payroll taxes. This includes $1.10 trillion for Social Security, $342 billion for Medicare, and $55 billion for unemployment insurance.
Okay, let me point it out TOTAL REVENUE FOR @)@# IS ESTIMATED TO BE $4.71 TRILLION (FOUR POINT 71 TRILLION or 4 TRILLION, SEVEN HUNDRED TEN BILLION)
You know you can get professional help, right?

Go back and count the cumulative tax cuts from Reagan, forward. The Reagan cuts were about $2-trillion. The 2001 and 2003 cuts added up to $5.6-trillion, and 2017 was $1.5-trillion. They add up to over $8-trillion. These cuts are reflected in the deficit, which is being used as an excuse to slash "Safety Net," programs.

Oh cumulative. Yeah, let's go back to George Washington and really exaggerate the point you are trying to make. You know what, if the government is entitled to $8 trillion dollars that people like my "single parent mom" daughter are making. She raised her kids in poverty for years and now she is earning over $2 million a year with a business she started that employs about 200 single parent moms. And she 100% funds a dog rescue. Yeah, those evil rich people deserve to be snuffed out, get that girl back on welfare where she belongs. IF it's good for government to take $8 trillion from the rich it has to be even better to take everything from everybody. Oh wait, that's communism/socialism. Well in that case it's OK, dictators care.

The cumulative debt, when Reagan took office was about $900 billion. This debt is the result of massive cuts in taxes, mostly for the rich, without equal cuts in spending. The GOP, from Reagan on, has promised to not cut Social Security and Medicare to get middle class support. Every GOP administration since Reagan has also spent money, they didn't have on programs popular with the middle class, as if missing revenue was no problem. Now, they threaten to bankrupt the country if we don't accept cuts to Social Security and Medicare.

Surely, taxing the rich. and sensible budget cuts will not force people out of business. Remember, as Ben Bernanke points out frequently, it is not the money people have in their bank accounts they use to start and grow businesses, it is money they borrow. If the GOP crashes the economy to get reductions in Social Security and Medicare, no one will be able to get business loans, and the lady in your story will be put out of business.

And the cumulative debt when Obama left office was? And cutting Social Security? Doesn't matter really because Democrat led Congresses have robbed the Social Securtity "lock box" for decades. It's bankrupt, just like any nation that has to borrow trillions of dollars to fund itself, or tax the citizens to death and after with estate taxes. Reagan? Does the name Tip O'Neil ring a bell? Reagan and Bush(itler) 1 had to deal with Democrat senate and house the entire time and who lied? That would be DEMOCRATS. You're such a wonderful little communist Larry, no wonder you were such an effective employee at the VA, who by the way killed way to many of my vet friends with their cruel medical lie of a hospital system and "free" healthcare for their service. Do you want the names of vets from Pearl Harbor to Operation Iraqi Freedom so you can put a face to your bureaucratic victims?

Faculty from the top 100-medical schools in the country provide care and supervision at a majority of VA Medical Centers. Literally the "Who's Who," of American medicine are responsible for the care Veterans receive. I don't care how much you hate me or my politics, I worked for too many years as the Administrative Officer of the Day, making sure my medical center functioned overnight and on weekends. I worked to keep my departments supplied and staffed as Administrative Officer for Surgery and for Behavioral Health Services. You may not value what I did, but Pam Murphy, Audie's widow, loved working for me because I always put veterans first. I can live with your misinformed, partisan venom.

I remember Thomas P., "Tip," O'Neill saying to disgruntled Democrats that Ronald Reagan won the election in 1980 and deserved to get his policies and programs passed, without partisan ado. O'Neill respected the Presidency. You will not find Reagan bad-mouthing him over partisanship.

Yeah right. If that's the case why were tunnel rats just used in a study until they all died off from Agent Orange? Oh, how thoughtful, after they all died off the caring and loving government authorized payment for the harm done. I knew 7 such men. Or how about my friend who was 17 years old and was stationed at Pearl Harbor. Got to participate in the rescue of trapped sailors. He went to every scheduled physical and wes told everything was great. 2 weeks after his last physical he wasn't feeling well, went back and they told him golly you have stage 4 prostate cancer even though our PSA test 2 weeks ago said you were healthy. Yeah, he died a month later. You would of loved how he described the first and only attempt to cut into the hull of capsized ships only to be covered by the vaporized bodies of the sailors they were trying to rescue as all the air escaped through the torch hole. Yeah, the guy on the torch got killed too. He loved to recall hearing the morse code taps for a month or so. 5 men in room. 3 of us now. Just me, Just me. Silence. Yeah he got teh best the VA had to offer. Don't make me go on you arrogant communist punk.

Pople don't die from "Agent Orange." VA did research on the diseases Veterans suspected resulted from Agent Orange exposure, but never exposed people to the defoliant in the process. Much of the research was in the form of literature searches. That is where the basic science has already been done and you look for evidence in their findings.

The United States Preventive Serves Task Force (USPSTF), the major professional organization of people in this field, recommends against relying on the PSA test for men 70-years old or older. One reason for not using this test is that a false negative could mislead lay people to believe a patient has a healthy prostate. If your friend was 17-y.o. in 1941, he would be 99-y.o. today. If he died in the last few years, he outlived his life expectancy by decades. If he died decades ago, he lived as long as non-veterans of his generation lived.

Calling me names may make you feel better. But it doesn't make your very shaky "facts," any less questionable. By the way, I am a 74-year-old capitalist.

Oh of course pople never died from agent orange, the VA says! Young pople aren't dropping dead from myocarditis caused by the jab, the CDC says (and PFizer and Moderna say so too!)! Trump had classified documents and was selling nuclear secrets to Russia to make up for all the paychecks he donated back to the treasury as President, the FBI says! Biden was careful to put all his top secret documents in recyclable cardboard boxes with no CO2 emissions, the DOJ says!
Joe died 31 years ago. Yes the human body is complex, individuals vary, that's why medicine is a combination of science, experience and art. What I'm trying to impress upon you is that if my veteran friends had gone for conventional health care instead of that administered by the VA, many would still be alive today, like their civilian friends with similar prognoses. You can't whitewash the parade of VA scandals. They have been researched in the form of literature searches and you ignore the evidence in their findings.
As for NEVER exposing people to the defoliant, you are incorrect. I spoke with more than one tunnel rat and men who served in covert squads who told stories of being sprayed with the defoliant. Everyone knew what it was, like the monkey bombs, trip wires and claymores.
The only one who says they were never sprayed are the people in power who bear responsibilty. My best friend was struggling along with a number of other vets with specific symptoms and was required to report to Fitsimmons VA hospital in Denver for years with the promise that they were going to be treated for their common ailments. The group started out with 125 participants. After all but 15 of them had died the research doctor admitted to them that the real purpose was to monitor them as they died off to limit the amount of compensation the government would have to pay. 3 years after Tom died, the government admitted that Agent Orange had significant negative health effects and paid any remaining SURVIVORS $125,000 each. Not their families, only the handful that managed to live long enough. That is one reason I hate the VA. I know you may have done a lot of good, but there is no way you can be so proud of the institution, it is corrupt. BTW I have a number of friends who are doctors that do "seasonal work" for the VA, and others who left the system. I'm no dupe, I am trained to analyze facts and draw reasoned conclusions.

If joe died 31 years ago, he had lived the average life expectancy for his age-group. And, he died a few years before the PSA test was used.

You seem confused. The VA is not part of the Department of Defense. The DoD put active duty personnel at risk of developing diseases related to Agent Orange. Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center was never run by the VA. The Agent Orange Settlement Fund was the result of a lawsuit by Veterans against manufacturers of the defoliant. The VA did not administer the fund. The Federal Court set up an office to do so. That fund ran out in 1997.

Title 38 of the United States Code requires the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to presume that a Veteran was perfectly physically sound at the time of induction, unless they sign a waiver in order to join an active duty service. Any disease, injury or defect that occurs during the line of duty, except if it is caused by willful action can be adjudicated to be a service-connected disability. Several decades ago a researcher determined that Multiple Sclerosis can take seven years to develop. The VA decided that any Veteran who developed MS within 7-years of discharge would be eligible for an SC-disability rating and compensation. Many VA employees, including Maude DeVictor, the "Mother of Agent Orange," felt the same rule should apply to diseases suspected to be caused by exposure. It was not easy, but the VA was convinced to institute a policy granting SC-status to a list of disabilities. All a veteran has to do is prove that they served on Active Duty in the places we know exposure took place and that they have developed a disease on the list. A medical exam will take place to determine the percent of compensation they should receive. That is what the VA does.

You appear to need better "facts." to "analyze."
