As I said above, trump and his lawyers signed a document claiming he had given the National Archives ALL documents he had taken.... The raid on maralago proved this to be false. The second discovery after that in his storage locker proved it to be false once again.

Another difference is Trump's teams had to be compelled by NARA to give them back. They were probably concerned considering his alleged destruction of white house documents.

I think when you do some research, you'll find that he had declassified the documents that he had in his possession.
