As long as you can plug it into the legacy fossil fuel burning grid then I assume that it would be doing fine.

If, however, your house is "off the grid" and all solar/wind/renewable then you're shit out of luck.

Range is shorter; charging takes longer. One Tesla owner could not get frozen door open. Then there is this guy:

Oil and coal are renewable energy now. It can be made in labs. It's just not cheaper than pulling it out of the ground.
