Classified US military documents released by WikiLeaks in October 2010, record Iraqi and Coalition military deaths between January 2004 and December 2009. The documents record 109,032 deaths broken down into "Civilian" (66,081 deaths), "Host Nation" (15,196 deaths),"Enemy" (23,984 deaths), and "Friendly" (3,771 deaths). This is consistent with Iraqi Ministry of Health counts of Death Certificates from Hospitals and Morgues. These counts do not differentiate between non-official "militias," that sprang up in Iraq and innocents killed by roadside IEDs and unintended collateral deaths.
Please keep in mind that, in order to kill 200,000 innocent civilians, thousands of American Military would have to conspire to kill them, then not report the truth. First, there is no "body count," to support your number. Second, My Lai was discovered after an American soldier told his story publicly. In 30-years of working for the VA, I never met one Veteran who was willing to cover up for the misdeeds of higher-ups.
Yet, you are willing to accuse them of widespread murder. I guess you don't have one of those "Support Our Troops," bumper stickers on your car.
