Put in 2.1 kiloJoules, get 2.5 kiloJoules. So to create 1 kWh of net electricity for the grid, it needs 4 kWhs of electricity put into it? That is before efficiency losses. Using that energy for steam generated electric turbines releases heat into the atmosphere. How does that improve global warming?
