She actually tried walking it back a bit today, saying that nobody has got the right to decide what other people get to say. Perhaps she doesn't possess enough intelligence -- being a leftist and all -- to comprehend that Musk is opening Twitter usage up to everyone instead of just Dem Party approved ideological leftists.

It amazes me that so many on the Left are in such a lather about what Musk is doing. FFS! Every coin has two sides, and so does every opinion.

Beware the sound of one hand clapping.

Perhaps it is because most leftists have apparently replaced religion with a religious-like belief in their ideology. That, after all, is the ultimate goal of Marxism; to worship the State and the Official version of everything in the place of God or Allah or Buddhist principles or Taoism. To confront leftist ideology is synonymous with assaulting their religion. That's just a guess though.

There is a rabid hatred of traditional religion among many in the Left. I came up in church and I'll be the first to admit I have questions about much of what I was taught and saw.
That said, what I was taught and saw was Human Beings doing what they themselves saw and were taught. I take what I find valuable, and discard the inconsistencies.

I don't confuse my relationship with God with what fallible human beings taught, said, or did.

It's true that the church is full of hypocrites, but so is the world outside the church. It's a shame that people are willing to risk it all based on the words and actions of fallible human beings doing human being shit in the church.

Not everything in Church is of God, and there are a lot of people in Church are going to be in for a rude awakening. And that is a shame.

I look at all religion ( and many of the less dangerous forms of philosophy ) as a vehicle for personal self-improvement and development of a spiritual nature. The end goal is a better human being -- regardless of how often people fail at that.

All organizations are rife with some degree of corruption and hypocrisy and contradictions.
People following Buddhism and -- organized, formal --Taoism and Hinduism often lament of the same issues. There are vehicles available no matter one's nature . . . even atheists can find their way through logic and self-discipline . . . though mostly they NEED to also adhere to the principles developed by one of the philosophers. Many scientists follow that route.

But in each and every case the 'practitioner' ultimately gets back a certain amount of personal value for the effort and sincerity that he or she puts into it with consistency. Meh . . . but one is NEVER going to find that in the pursuit of political ideology as a substitute for religion . . . which is the fundamental mistake committed by most adherents of the Left.

Well put.
