They're not the same crime.

Why would you expect a similar sentencing?

And the "Biden Justice Department didn't intervene."

The prosecutors (the biden justice department) offered the pair a plea deal and they pled guilty. And the pair lost their jobs & licenses because of it.

QShaman there participated in an insurrection. He dressed outlandishly, carried a spear, and made sure he was in front of every camera that he could find in an attempt to make himself a symbol of the insurrection. Qboi here remains as unemployable after as he was before.

The scale of what they did is different a long with their actual crimes.

Why would you expect similar sentencing?

He entered a building we pay for and own. As far as I know he didn't break in, he was let in, just like many others were. Violent crime vs trespassing.

Yes. The people of the united states own the capital building.

But there are rules.

You don't get to go wandering around in it whenever you damn well feel like it.
You don't get to attempt to stop the certification of the election.

Even if he was 'let in', it doesn't mean he didn't break the law.

And let's be clear here, he was not 'let in' nor were any of the others.

He broke the law. He went to jail.

They broke the law. They went to jail.

Also, a key fact in the OP omits deliberately, is that pair was arrested, and originally the prosecutors attempted to have them tried as Domestic Terrorists. The Biden administration prosecutors offered a plea deal for a lower charge to get the conviction rather than lose the harder-to-prove domestic terrorism.

Which is why QShaman there was convicted on a riot charge and not the harder to prove insurrection charge.

Yes, a lot of people were let in by security. It's on video. Like I said, he was trespassing. That shouldn't be a two year sentence in jail. At most, it's a fine and a few months in jail.

Also, as the meme states, the comparison of the two crimes, one is a violent crime where the perp was allowed to go free while the non violent crime of trespassing got a two year and counting sentence.

Regardless of what you believe, trespassing is NOT a violent crime worthy of jail time. Maybe a few months, as this was a federal building, but not two plus years.

And let's not forget the fact they are putting those who were just there, not trespassing, in jail. That is abuse of power and we should not tolerate it.

He pled guilty to obstructing an official proceeding. You know, the part where they wanted to stop the certification of the election.

That has a maximum of 20 years in jail.

It's not wandering across the lawn or opening the wrong door.

Look, I get it, you're 100% in on "it was just a protest" and "voter fraud" lie, but the truth is homie made himself a visible symbol of an insurrection.

I know what an insurrection is and that was not an insurrection. That was a bunch of drunk idiots who saw an opportunity to get on camera.

And when you people keep telling me how this was all Trump's fault, when he clearly talked about peaceful protests (which is legal, btw) and then ignore the rhetoric by the Democrat party that literally pushes for violence against their political rivals...you just come off stupid and I'll informed.

This was slightly more than a bunch of drunkards tearing up the bar on a Friday night.

But you brought up and interesting point. A couple, actually:
Most of these insurgents were only charged with trespassing, nothing more, and received light sentences. Angeli made himself a bit too well seen for his own good, so he got it harder than most others. I love the man's style, but play stupid games and you just might win!

But more importantly, as you brought up: Trump. He's gotten away with his part inciting this insurrection as the low brow dingbat Brownshirts got, well, the Brownshirt treatment, or at least today's equivalent of... They pay, he walks. Heck, he even slagged on the moronic neckbeards the very next day and denied their pathetic cult asses.

Welcome to the real injustice - where the peons dutifully accept their masters doing as they will with impunity while the peons get hung for it. BANG! BANG! on 5th Ave.

You are incorrect. You don't know an insurrection when you see one.

Because you are insisting this was a peaceful protest. It wasn't.

And it was incited by Trump.

tbf, not all Cult45ers are paid shills, some really, um, well, supposedly - or, at least, officially - 'believe' the St Petersburg scripted propaganda they spew. Although they do ignore the truth most enthusiastically, hence their so-called belief IS a tad suspect,,,

Speaking of smart, you show up, Viking. ✔️✔️ Yes, there is definitely a disconnect between leftists, reality and Jan 6th. If they are paid shills/bots or whatever, they align with some of the lowest forms of life and ignore the truth as you say.

I'm not asking you to look it up. I gave the link to a 2-minute political cartoon.

You don't have to watch it.

But don't go making the "mUh cONtriBUtiOnS!!!" argument.

Ya know what else is a waste of time? Dodging questions and trolling.

No, that's not how it works. There are other people on this site who may want to watch it (because it is pretty funny). But regardless. you, nor anyone else, is not allowed to tell me what I can and cannot post. If I want to post or not post, that is MY choice. If you want to watch or not watch, that is YOUR choice.

Also, are you ever going to reply to the comments in the other thread, or have you forgotten?
[deleted]

So post that comment to other people. The "reply" button means you wanted to post it to me WHICH WASTES BOTH OUR TIME.

Ask your grandkids how the reply button works. And while you're at it, ask them to explain the other thread to you, because despite being the smarter one of the bunch, you STILL somehow missed the point.
0 ups, 1y
No, I posted it in RESPONSE to you, but that still doesn't mean you have to watch it. It is my response to your argument, so it wouldn't actually make sense to post it somewhere else. That being said, this still doesn't mean you have to watch it.

Oh, my grandkids? LMFAO! Regardless, there are two comments of mine you haven't replied two, and yet you still complain about "mUh cONtRiBuTiONs!!!" and "mUh TiME!!!!"

India 1947, Iran in 1979 (and possibly in process right now this very minute today), Philippines 1986, Afghanistan to the Taliban in 1994 and again in 2021(granted, they had guns, by they pretty much just rolled into town and took over, no shots fired), The collapse of the USSR and Iron Curtain countries in 1991, Yugoslavia 1991-92 (till the Balkan wars afterwards in repsonse to Bosnia and Kosovo, anyways), Tunisia, Egypt, Libya during the Arab Spring of 2010 -11... Any of these or more ring a bell?

Modda, you know darn well that was no insurrection. You leftists are grasping at straws in an attempt to turn a molehill into a mountain. Current day U.S., not Third World. Summer of 2021, Biden: "If you wanted or if you think you need to have weapons to take on the government, you need F-15s and maybe some nuclear weapons."

BDS, 24/7!

Appeal to Ignorance + (admittedly lame) Ad Hominems make for awesomating rebuttals!

But you are correct, it wasn't an insurrection, it was a gaggle of terminal (as in cross-generational) losers larping like they were having an insurrection, only to go home just in time for their excuse of a mother to toast them Hot Pockets to down with their meth-laced Pabst Blue Ribbons. The offal of society since before their ancestors where dumped here as penal colonist prisoners haven't been able to sustain anything other than their vices since, well, they were the offal of Britain. If it wasn't for the Confederate gov't conscripting them into service during the Civil War that would have lasted a whopping 5hrs as well.

Insurrection?
More like desperation fueled by eau de septic tank perspiration for the sake of a NEW YORK CITY carptebagger who would never even admit these mouth breathing trailer trash wastes of monkey spunk into the Trump Tower lobby to grab a cup of coffee to go, let alone his posh golf resorts for so much as to scrub toilets for his clientele.

Let that sink in. Trump Inc security wouldn't let this garbage come even within viewing distance of the entrance gate. Rejects, all, in keeping with the entirety of their sad sap existence. If it wasn't for DEMONICRAT FDR, they'd still be limping on dirt roads with no electricity chewing on tumbleweed with pig turd gravy for sustenance. Good gosh, if only we could separate from those parasites and keep our money from being thrown away on the seditious communist filth. boo hoo, the North done tore them up a sesquicentennial ago. Ugh, such an embarrassment, the low lie scum of the world.
