In the 50's and 60's, Che Guevara, Fidel Castro and other communists were part of a "liberation theology" movement that had sprung up within the Catholic Church. It was not condoned by the Church (as far as I know. I am not Catholic), however, some say that the current Pope came from this liberation theology group.

I can fully understand Pelosi saying she is devout if by devout she means that she is a part of the liberation theology movement. Liberation theology came to America and infiltrated as many religions as possible but where they had the most success was in the black churches and the theory quickly became "black liberation theology".

It is nothing by Marxism with a very, very, very thin layer of Christianity on it. But it fooled enough Marxist idiots to run around trying to say that Jesus was a socialist. The problem is that socialism is the antithesis of liberty and Jesus is the author of liberty. Jesus is whom all our "inalienable rights" come from, not the government. Not from Joe, "you know, the thing" Biden. Jesus is essentially the founder of the United States of America and we were never a socialist government, not even close.

I do not think Fidel/Che/Camilo's movement has anything to do with religion. At the contrary, their movement was against religion. They all hated religion. Just look at the way Fidel destroyed religion in Cuba and made the majority of the population atheists or voodoo(spirital practices from the African heritage believe they call it Chango, nothing Christian about it). It was 100% Marxism and the Nazi leaders who Fidel adored and even imitated.

They didn't create liberation theology (as far as I know). It think it is what put them on their path. It very heavily Marx in origin.

I'm not trying to contradict what you said because you are right. It's been a long time since I read about it but they were all somehow tied in with liberation theology. Probably it was before they all turned atheist.

Marxism is an atheist ideology. It's goal and the goal of socialists before him was to find someone way to replace people's devotion to God with their devotion to the state. The authoritarian government is to be their god and they will have no other gods, or the one true God, before the the state.

That is the exact reason why atheism was pushed so hard on America. It wasn't "science", it was power and control. Because the state decides what is science and what isn't. They have decided things like climate change, the COVID vaccine, multiple genders are all science, regardless of any real science that contradict them.

It is such a brutal and heinous way to kill a baby. I can't conceive how a person could think that up, and actually go through with it.

I think abortion should be allowed in cases of the baby dying, r@pe, or the carrier’s life being at risk or tampering with condoms or birth control. Other then that, it was your own dumb mistake if you had unsafe sex.
