Interesting fact : Most Southeast Asian city dwellers were wearing masks before the Plandemic

I know people had been wearing masks in Japan for years. China might have been the same but I hadn't noticed. Some Asian countries the pressure to work is extreme by our standards. Getting sick gets in the way of working. I think that is the reason for the masks.

I know right..... just think how much money corporations could save if we let them slowly pollute us to death like in China.

I mean if the Chinese want to live in that brown cloud because it's cheaper, cool... Good luck with cancer.

Corporations could save so much more money if they just kicked out all of the unions. That would be awesome because the cost of living would start to come down. That would make Joe Biden furious because he just wants the cost of living to keep going up and up and up and up.

So let me get this straight. We need a strong, centralized authoritarian government to tell businesses that they cannot pollute just to save a little money? But wait a second. China is a strong, centralized government, all businesses are controlled by the Chinese government, and China is the worst polluter on the planet. So how does that work? If China has a strong, centralized government that tells businesses how they can run then how come they pollute so much?

Apparently letting businesses earn a profit by removing the strict environmental legislation will actually be better for the environment than a strong, centralized authoritarian government who controls business.

You complain about environmental regulations, even though it's those very regulations that are intended to stop corporations from polluting and destroying the environment, something they got away with for a very long time and still get away with to an extent today. Are you saying you want more of that? More superfund sites? More contaminated soil and water?

I complain about tyranny. If a governmental regulation is tyrannical then I am opposed to it.

You want to stop US businesses from polluting. Okay. But who is going to stop the demand for those products? Does just shifting the problem to China fix the environment?

You should have seen this river the times it caught fire.

- Oh wait, brb,,,

So what. We all know that there is pollution in the US. But we are a drop on the ocean compared to China. Yet all the focus on solving climate change is on us and NOT China. The left is pushing to close down our businesses which means that foreign nations with little or no environmental controls will be making those products. The nation who is currently making the majority of everything sold in America is China. How is moving CO2 emissions and all other pollution to China supposed to fix this global problem of climate change?

Good grief, search the pics. Do those cars lOOk like recent vintage? Have you HEARD of the Cayuhga River on fire since the 1970s? Did the the Clean Water Act and the EPA become a thing now?

China had mile long chains of people handing buckets of dirt to each other in massive earth works projects back then, and fertilized their field with 'night soil.' They were a technologically backwards shell of a country till that idiot Nixon made friends with them and nixed Taiwan.

I didn't pay attention to the cars. And considering those are abandoned cars their vintage could be very old even if that picture was taken today.

These cars aren't new and I think they are still there today.

Look up the Cayuhga River in Cleveland on fire.

If those cars had been sitting in the water like that all this time, there wouldn't be much left of them other than eroding rust.

Yeah it caught fire several times until 1969 when someone spoke out about it. In 1969 I was choking on LA smog walking to school. My lungs would burn. It hasn't been close to that bad in a very, very long time.

I agree with you about Nixon. What was his major malfunction?

He was an idiot. They're all idiots.

China was granted Most-Favored-Nation Status in 1979, opening the door to all this trade. The idea was that by improving their economy, they'd see this Capitalism thing wasn't so bad and loosen up.
Yeah, that worked out really well.

That was wishful thinking. No dictator is going to give up that much power to allow capitalism to become the norm.

He also took us off of the gold standard and ever since then the value of the dollar has been plummeting.

This, and obviously the above shots, all of the Cayuhga River in Cleveland, is literally why the Clean Water Act and the EPA exist.

Enviromentalism is a function of affluence. That's why poor countries are so polluted, and richer areas are less so,,,

THat's the river on fire, btw, not the banks, the water,,,
