But if you were serious you would be talking about the global recession, the roots in austerity, the role the war and opec and the extractive extraction companies play in the gas prices, the fools errand of sending our jobs/manufacturing overseas and allowing our big box players to collect billions on the backs of labor, the wackadoodle housing market domestically... should i continue? These are bigger problems than Trump or Biden...

That said... The Inflation Reduction Act, The BiPart Infrastructure Deal and CHIPS are all designed to actually get at the root causes of all this bullshit. And the R's wouldnt vote on any of it. They would rather play politics than work on the policy needed to start to bring home manufacturing, invest in the systems we need to build for the next wave of energy tech rather than dig more wholes to feed the old one and talk about kids gender and book banning than deal with that very real fentanyl problem you spoke of - as if a f**king wall was going to help that.

Please tell me any policy proposal on the table to tackle a single thing you have written above that the R's are promoting that will get to the root of the problems we are facing? Anything.
