Yeah, there's lots of facts like that, but at the same time young women in the ancient past were also more mature mentally.
In modern society we need to not allow sex until the person is mentally and physically mature, but that would require invasive tests that no one would agree to.

Young girls were not more “mentally mature” in the ancient past, we were just more lenient to creepy older men.

obviously, in the ancient past, teenagers were more mature, both girls and boys, than in modern times. Kids starting working in the field or as an apprentice in a trade. Teenage boys went off to war and teenage girls would get married by 18 and start having kids. All of history has accounts like this.

I'm not arguing that that wasn't the case, but there's a big difference between being mentally mature and being denied a proper childhood. I don't understand why conservatives seem so fixated on making that the norm again.

No they were more mature having helped raise their family members from birth and having all the education they needed from parents teaching children.
