I am "Pro-Choice." I have always chosen to be responsible and make sure that my partners and I used birth control. After choosing to have three children, I chose to do the responsible thing. I chose to have a vasectomy. Those were my choices. A raped teenager or a victim of incest would have no choice under current Republican plans.

And that makes the child a criminal with a death sentence for actions not of the child’s doing. How is killing the baby going to make the crime better, instead of worse, for the victim?

If someone gets pregnant because they got raped, they are under no obligation to stay pregnant

Totally agree.

Science does not support your allegation that an embryo is a baby. I don't see this as "killing the baby." A majority of lay people accept the science-based position.

Science says at conception the person’s blue print for life, growth, development is set. That is the beginning of a constitutionally protected person.

Under your definition a woman taking a birth control pill would be a "killer." Since sperm has many of the parts of your "blueprint," would a masturbater be a "half-killer."

What is a "Constitutionally protected person?" Would that be like a mentally ill person, who is ruled incompetent to make their own legal decisions? Or like a "brain dead," patient, unable to sustain life on their own, or have the mental acuity necessary to make life and death decisions. Courts have ruled thousands of times that their rights as a "person," can be suspended. Your conceived mass of goo never had a consciousness to be adjudicated. They are at least three iterations away from being what might resemble a person.

It’s not the blueprint but s as n ingredient. It does not contain the whole persons blueprint.

The 14th Amendment refers to people who have actually been born. Where does the constitution say that embryos have constitutional rights?

Where does it refer to birth?

Section 1 begins "All persons born..."

if you think abortion is at/near the top of the list in problems this country faces today, you really need to get away form the liberal media and open your eyes.

The conservatives are the ones making it a major issue with their new draconian laws.

The bounties in Texas and no exceptions for rape or incest, to name a couple.

A law allowing for Texans who seek abortions in other states to be sued by any Texan is, in effect, a bounty.

got a case number or Bill number? I need to see that...I do not think the laws mean what you say they mean.

No, I don't.

What you 'think' about laws you claim to be ignorant of is irrelevant.

so, you say it, but you have no proof of it actually being a law...you sound like Trump

Unemployment is down to 3.5%, the economy grew by 2.7% last quarter, gas prices fell 70-days in a row. Inflation was cooling until Putin got OPEC to cut production. Someone's eyes are closed. Not mine. And, to be correct, you are referring to a hierarchy of problems on opinion polls. I would argue that Vladimir Putin's unstable behavior is a bigger risk to us than the price of a Whopper going up a dime or so.

Walker adamantly denied the claim detailed in a Daily Beast article, calling it a “flat-out lie,” and vowed to sue the news outlet.
