That’s BS. They said the same crap with Bush and Obama, and the same thing before that. They always claim the whole “inheriting economies” crap whenever the evidence shows their side is effing everything up. I wondered if people would do that with Trump after claiming it took 8 years for Bush to screw the economy up even though they got him out in 4. Now the pandemic makes things a bit more unfair but hey, everything bad is Trump’s fault, even the pandemic deaths.
Taxing the heck out of the rich doesn’t make the poor richer. All it does is bring the country’s average net worth down. We’re not the first country to go through this. The government is far too corrupt to actually tax the rich and benefit the poor from it even if they could (and they may be able to, but every time a dem gets in office life as a poor person gets harder, not easier).
Who you’d trust with 401K isn’t really relevant because it doesn’t prove you right. Personally I wouldn’t trust any politician with any of my money, and they got way more than 401K anyway, so if they haven’t solved the problems you want solved, you can best bet your 401K ain’t doing nothing but going into getting all their friends Rolls Royce cars and Louis Vuitton bags and Gucci watches or those watches gifted in that Bling Empire show. We talk about how Elon Musk has enough to solve world hunger, but so does Zuckerberg (but he’s too busy spying on the whole planet and possibly buying out politics?), and Bezos (who’s too busy putting a billion dollars into one of the most lame parody shows of all time and then trying to buy out positive reviews to save face), and a combination of politicians who do what politicians do best: talk about this stuff and proceed to do nothing about it. And if you want to get into experience, I’ll tell you this: Every time a Democrat is in office, overpricing has made life much harder for me and I wasn’t even raised in a middle class family. The other thing about your 401K is that under Biden all that money would easily be used up buying a 1500 square foot house that would have sold for just $100K just 6 years ago. I’ve seen small houses easily go for that price range these days.
So tell me exactly how Trump had ruinous economic policies, and how Biden’s are anything better?
