2. From Martha's Vineyard, they were taken in by a local church.

3. They were then sent to Joint Base Cape Cod.... by Republican Governor Charlie Baker.... not liberals.

Fentanyl deaths I have less sympathy for tbh. Overdosing on fentanyl when you thought it was heroin seems like shooting yourself with a 45 when you thought it was a 22. I mean it sucks but if you're an addict, overdosing at some point is basically expected.

As far as I know the term "sanctuary city" refers to a place where people don't have to live in fear of being sent back to Mexico or whatever country they are from. And that hasn't happened.... So it would appear they have lived up to their slogan.

Idk if they can necessarily prove that but if a judge believes them, this little stunt might end up legally biting Ronald in the ass. Unless you're some sort of street chemist who knows how to chemically test drugs to know exactly what's in them, doing illegal drugs (or buying prescription drugs illegally) is basically Russian roulette.... "Ecstacy" is theoretically supposed to just be MDMA but it has been known to have just about f*ckin anything and everything in it.

I'm not necessarily saying "f*ck all drug addicts", I'm just saying someone dying from an overdose is somewhat different than a bunch of families getting cooked in the back of a truck.

Fentanyl, etc comes across the border because people in our society are chasing the dragon. Your average undocumented immigrants come across the border because they're chasing the American dream.

I would tend to assume we're giving 'em phones and paying them off because it's easier than actually dealing with their problems. Many of them do not want to get sober and I am not sure you can force the unwilling. A large part of it is probably also related to underlying mental illness which is also more difficult to deal with compared to handing out phones.
