Because normally, you open account and deposit the money in an account. Then the firm manages the account. That way everything can be tracked and legally transparent.

They just wrote the check to the company.

Not to the account.

To the company.

And walked away.

Seems like a thing we should know more about.

He's not affiliated with Affinity Partners. He is the founder and owner of Affinity Partners, an 'investment' firm.

In a normal transaction, the Saudi government would have opened an account and deposited money. Then contracted the management firm to manage the money via various investments. The company gets paid via the fees they charge.

All of these transactions would be logged and tracked for legal transparency reasons.

But that's not what happened here.

Ol Jared starts Affinity Partners. The Saudi's write the company a $2 billion check. Not open an account and deposit. Not contract with the company to manage the money.

Just straight cut a check to Affinity Partners.

They handed off $2 billion to a man who had no experience managing fund accounts.

Seems like the kind of thing we should know more about.

And as soon as we learn how Epstein got his wealth and all the "investors" and the flight passenger logs are released, the DOJ can get right on the Hunter laptop. After that perhaps they'll have time to look into Jared's affairs.
