Pepperidge Farm Remembers Meme | REMEMBER WHEN THE NEW YORK POST WAS A CREDIBLE NEWSPAPER? PEPPERIDGE FARM REMEMBERS | image tagged in memes, pepperidge farm remembers | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

I certainly don't remember that, cause from what I understand, they've never been credible. They've always lied, but hid their lies behind convenient scapegoats and out of context quotes.

Ok, so it was my mistake to assume every news paper were credible at some point or other.

You're saying that the NY Post is lying and that the illegal aliens weren't removed from Martha's Vineyard by the National Guard and put on buses and sent to a military base?

Really?

Residents from the island—where, by the way, the median household income is somewhat higher than the U.S. average but not by anywhere the amount a lot of the recent coverage would have you believe—worked to raise $175,000 for the migrants. They were transported to a military base on Cape Cod last Friday not because the Vineyard residents were racist hypocrites but because there were facilities on the Cape capable of handling the influx that didn’t exist on the island. The migrants were given cell phones and $50 Visa cards.

Shhhh! They hate context!

So you're admitting the original meme is misinformation and incorrect.

The NY Post did not lie. They were removed from the "sanctuary" island of Martha's Vinyard, with the assistance of the National Guard, as reported by the Post.

The residents of the island publicly claim that they are a sanctuary city and welcome all illegals. Yet they don't have any facilities for them and call the National Guard to help them remove them ASAP.

How is that not hypocritical, or at best just virtue signaling?

They are still in state.

You are avoiding the issue.

The meme states explicitly that the NY Post lied when they reported that the illegal aliens were removed from the island and shipped by ferry to Cape Cod.

The NY Post was reporting the facts, and the meme is incorrect and should be labeled misinformation.

yes they were not illegal. and yes they were put in more appropriate accommodations in the same state, instead of in the middle of the street with no idea what to do. gtfoh the piece is typical tabloid trash.
0 ups, 2y
that's funny, cause you seem to be presenting an issue based on a lie, and now want people to pay attention to the fabricated issue rather than the lie that you've built it on

1st: they were not illegal aliens
2nd: they were moved to another part in the same state

neither of these things equate to being deported, especially since calling them illegal aliens is completely and demonstrably a lie

"so much for sanctuary"... well thats a lie, because it is exactly what they got, but the really infuriating part is the were LEGAL..... WITH DOCUMENTS. and wtf is a fla gov doing kidnapping tx residents?

They couldn't handle an influx of 50-100 people on an island that welcomes 150,000 every summer? Cell phones and 50 bucks before getting the boot was all they could offer? If anything this has shown that democrats simply don't want to deal with immigrants on any sort of personal level like towns in the south have to face on a daily basis. 50 is overwhelming? imagine 500-1000 every day on your doorstep.

Prison time - and if Christians, coupla governors going to get denied entry at the pearly gates.

Those folks were here legally.

I have officially opened a criminal investigation against the individual(s) who lured and transported 48 migrants from the Migrant Resource Center in San Antonio, TX to Martha's Vineyard. If you or someone you know has been impacted, please email [email protected]

Yea I guess they could have pulled a Florida and spent 20 million to give them nothing and leave them in the middle of nowhere Nebraska..... but folks in blue states are decent human beings.

ps...They were not even 'illegal'... they were documented. Good to know maga has such hatred for women and children living on the hardest edges of life and death.

That's correct. They were Venezuelans in the US legally pending review of applications for asylum. Which makes this "Reverse Freedom Ride" look all the more ridiculous.
