I'm a knee/foot bouncer, former nail biter, scab picker, music listener, and I like to wave my hands around like I'm doing magic tricks sometimes.
I read today that some people get denied their diagnosis because their stim "isn't on the list" and thought that was incredibly idiotic.
Turns out a lot of people as adults develop small, less moor l noticable stims to help with masking, so I saw some I've never heard of before and thought maybe we could share.
One I really enjoyed when I tried myself was someone who said they rapidly tap their teeth together. It seemed soothing to me and I had never thought of it before.
