8.3% if you don't count gas and food. Under the old calculations its more like 14%.

services like restaurants are also up way more than 8.3%. Really don't know where they are measuring the inflation numbers from really.

Inflation is still pretty high but it looks like we have now had 2 consecutive months of decreasing inflation...which hasn't happened in quite a while. Hopefully it does not reverse course.
