Nursing Shortages

Once people stop treating their bodies like a rental car, they won't be needed.

Not everyone is qualified to attend nursing school. Drug addicts and illegal aliens and gender-confused and criminals need not apply. Quality matters.

My quote of 66,000 was made by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.. and they stated they turned down 66,000 fully qualified candidates that passed all the tests.. they just lacked the room and the teaching staff to be able to accept them. So before you give false propaganda as to why it happen, research your facts first. Because I did before I posted it. You can only fit so much into a meme.

Could be a lot of nursing programs are filled to capacity too.

Thank you... your the first person to get it right. None of the 66,000 were unqualified. They were ALL qualified and passed all their tests.. The only reason why they were not accepted is that there was not enough room in the programs nor enough teachers to expand the programs. an RN makes on average $110,000 a year... but to TEACH a RN only makes $75,000 per year on average. So they don't have alot of RNs that want to teach new RNs...

Indeed. As the brother of a retired RN, I have a good idea of the standards they have to meet and maintain, and I have no doubt as to their qualifications. As an occasional patient, I'm further impressed by their dedication and professionalism.
