The United States already has a very high corporate tax rate. The problem is our capital gains tax rate is so incredibly low. That's why billionaires live here but put a headquarters in Ireland. If you don't think it's at least a little wrong that I am paying a higher percentage of my income from my blue collar skilled labor job than a brat pays on the six figure interest check from their trust fund you should retake an economics class.
Reagan had lowered taxes for anyone that made money making things or doing things but raised them on investments like long term stocks. That fixed our economy and it was awesome. Clinton lowered the taxes on stock traders and raised them on workers to split the difference. And that kids is why most jobs are in China now. Tax rates are better for the rich that way. The Republicans have gotten just as bad as the libs.
