I am having trouble separating elitist green energy policies from pork barrel energy genocide projects. | CALIFORNIA, BANNING GAS CARS 13 YEARS FROM NOW MIGHT BE DOABLE IF YOU COULD BUILD A CHOO-CHOO LINE FROM 14 YEAR AGO! IN 2008, CALIFORNIA VOTERS APPROVED HIGH SPEED 220MPH RAIL BETWEEN SAN FRANCISCO AND LOS ANGELES, AT A COST OF $33 BILLION, AND A COMPLETION DATE OF 2020. 14 YEARS LATER, IT WILL NOW COST OVER $105 BILLION, THEY MIGHT HAVE HALF THE RAILS LAID BY 2029, AND THE STATE HAS NO TRAINS CAPABLE OF GOING 220MPH | image tagged in bullet train, california, green, electricity, hypocrisy, task failed successfully | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

California will ban gas cars a decade before this train is finished.....if ever. How is taking an electric train better than driving your electric car?

The state of CA spent over $50 Billion dollars without laying a single foot of track or starting any construction, just doing planning and research studies!!! Let that enormous number sink in! This project has been stopped due to no progress and too many problems.
