Have you. . .have you ever read V for Vendetta? The actual comic? Not the movie which Alan Moore distanced himself from so the comic and movie could not be seen as one in the same. V was a violent anarchist in the original comic. He didn't care for democracy or freedom let alone LGBT. If I remember correctly, the only reason V set the lesbian free was to create a successor to V in order to continue the anarchy once he was dead.
