As usual overreach by the left kills it. Everyone was ready for sensible police reform. Education in civil rights should be a prerequisite for police officers. Villifying them was stupid. Reward good behavoir and punish poor behavoir, but you gotta lock criminals up and sometimes that’s not pretty. Too bad.

Everyone may have been "ready for" police reform...but what actually was getting done..?? Even now what has been done? I think what pisses people off the most is when they were in the wrong and they get a slap on the wrist if anything. And beyond outright brutality and careless acts resulting in civilian deaths, civil asset forfeiture also seems a bit ludicrous... but that's a whole 'nother rant.

That’s the point, the left alienated people who might have been supporters. I believe Tim Scott presented a police reform bill in Congress that democrats rejected rather than worked on. When you treat people as the enemy guess what, they become your enemy.

The BLM riots served their purpose , the Democrats don't need them this summer

If there is another incident as crazy (and as filmed) as Floyd, there will probably be more riots.

Actually I have changed my mind , Roe vs Wade isn't working , the Dems will need more "Peaceful" demonstrations to threaten voters to vote Demonrat .
