I don't know if that's what you're referring to, but that was my screen name on my first account. I accidently deleted that account when I went to Profile>Settings and then said "Hey, what happens if I click on 'Delete My Account"

To answer your question, I don't remember, I don't think it would let me, like even though the account was deleted the system still saw the username as taken perhaps?

As a software weenie, I'm always checking out other people's designs, so I kind of took my work home with me and was asking myself "If I click here will there be a pop up saying 'Are you sure that you want to delete your account?'" But alas, no such warning, one click and you're done.
