Top: We don’t really have the right to choose anymore, only certain places, and if you only have a right in certain parts of the country, that’s the definition of it not being a right. This loss of a right will affect women all over the country. When slavery was legal in certain states, for instance, it really did affect black people everywhere. The Dred Scott decision said slaves remained slaves even if they escaped to free soil — stuff like that. Missouri (where Dred Scott was actually decided, ironically) is talking about implementing similar laws to regulate “their women” everywhere they go.
