Numerous people were arrested in Idaho planning to cause violence and riots at a gay pride parade.

And there would have been homophobes and transphobes at that pride march threatening people as the crowds were leaving... likely threatening to shoot them if it was in the US... just because that is what you see in the photo doesn't mean that people aren't being MURDERED in WESTERN COUNTRIES for being queer....

Queer people are not so naive as to believe this. Corporations change their colors to the pride colors then support anti-LGBTQ organizations and politicians, or content creators.

Wendy's never supported LGBTQ people as far as I'm aware. When Ellen DeGeneres came out as gay, Wendy's pulled their advertising from her show.

Wendy's and Mcdonald's aren't corporation's, they're franchises. And just because two companies donate to some people who say they don't like LGBTQ peeps doesn't mean they are oppressed. Oppression looks like unequal rights like the Jews in Nazi Germany. They had policies enacted against them to restrict their rights. LGBTQ in America however, enjoys all the rights a straight white male gets. Some people hate blacks, some hate whites, some hate men, some hate women, hate is apart of life.

Sexual orientation and gender identity are not protected classes like race and other factors are. The point of the Equality Act is to add those two classes to nondiscrimination laws. There are different degrees of oppression, they don't have to all be as extreme as the Third Reich. Are LGBTQ+ people in America not oppressed when their events are being stormed by violent fascists that want to kill them?

Hate does not have to be a part of life. It's f**ked up that you think that way. Maybe one day you will see that capitalism perpetuates hate.

Also I do accept gays for who they are and I support their right to adopt children for I would rather have a child grow up in a loving home with gay parents rather than in an abusive foster home. Another problem with rainbow capitalism is that these same corporations that dress themselves in rainbow flags in west during June still do business with countries such as Saudi Arabia and China that ban LGBT rights. I've heard some people defend rainbow capitalism and argue that it's necessary to normalize LGBT rights in society, the problem with their argument is that these corporations only tout LGBT symbolism when it's already normalized in society, the corporations didn't tout LGBT symbolism when it wasn't normalized and did nothing to normalize it in the first place, they only hop on whatever bandwagon is profitable in whatever society. These corporations also collaborated with Nazi Germany back in WW2. The fact that these corporations collaborated with Nazi Germany and still to this do gay business with anti-LGBT countries just goes to show you that corporations are willing to do anything to make a profit no matter how society is, even during the most evil times in history.
