New legislation: females tube tied at 7, boys vasectomy at 10. No more abortions. Government pays for both and for reversals. If reversals don't work, that's the breaks.

And yet in most of the rest of the world, the question of abortion was left to the lawmakers... not the judges...

people should learn to regulate their own stuff or deal with the consequences

Abortion goes back to the states for individual decisions. With guns the political Left is trying to disarm all citizens, period. But after seeing what the Communist Chinese is currently doing to Singapore and what Australia did to its own citizens for the past two years, U.S. citizens ARE NOT going to let the Left disarm them.

Please tell me what Alex Jones told you Australia is doing to their citizens.
Love to hear it.

It's not my job to keep you abreast of current affairs. You could ask leftist media outlets . . . only they were very careful not to cover any of it.

Let's say the premise of the first half of what you're saying is true. Idk why you are framing that as if it's a distinction.... I mean do you think the right is not trying to outlaw abortion, period? They're having it go back to the statues.... for now... because it will lead to more restrictions on abortion. It is a step in that direction.

Do you think California will have abortion restrictions or New York?

Ummmm . . . what part of 'each state makes the individual decision' failed to register. Or is it expected that California or other eternally blue, blue, blue states are going to suddenly go red?

As it is now, they probably will not have (more) abortion restrictions there, no... But if demographics ever shifted, it would be more easily within their right to do have more. Basically, there would be less legal arguments against doing so.

Look at it from the flip side. Let's say hypothetically abortion had been totally banned nationwide since the 1970's......... Do you really think Republicans would have bothered stacking the Supreme court in order to give abortion law back to the states.... ? F*ckkkk no... and it's clear why. They see abortion for any reason at any stage of development as "murder".
