Covid is still making people sick

Yes it is, Octavia. But wearing a mask makes no difference in whether or not someone will catch it. You need close exposure for at least 15 minutes to even be at risk.

I think what the maskers need is a marketing makeover, a rebranding, similar to the flu shot. Instead of calling the jab a vaccine, they should just call it a covid shot and make zero guarantees about how well it will work, just like they do with the flu shots.

COVID isn’t the only reason to wear a mask
I wear it when it’s cold because it’s basically a face warmer
And I’ll wear it outside because it helps my allergies, and means I can run farther before having an asthma attack
