I don't purchase beef, lamb, or pork chops, but can attest that top quality poultry products are up more than 60% in my area. I don't buy it any more..

I recently bought a rack of ribs and it was cheap af.

It must really suck where you live. Must be a non beef producing state. Meat has not budged in price in CENTRAL FLORIDA. Hamburger still 4.65 a lb. Tbine still 9 a lb, tenderloin still 12 a lb.

And that is the country wide average increase on meat prices. So, according to your analysis and experience, either you live in a meat pricing Nirvana, or you live in a fantasy land. As far as the rest of the country is concerned, the prices of beef, other meats, poultry, wheat products, etc., have risen at very high rates over the last 12 months.

USDA Prime brisket was $4.99 a pound, but dropped to $3.99
Meanwhile diesel went from $3.24 to $5.75

Beef hasn't gone up here, either, when typically it follows fuel prices.
Lamb has doubled in the last two years
Betting beef in Florida comes from Kansas and Oklahoma
