You do know, don't you, the US lost (internationally) any prior semblance of respect once held immediately upon the GOP elevating her as a candidate for VP, which further deterioriated upon Trump gaining the Presidency.

Hate to break it to you but Obama - internationally - was the most respected President the US had produced in decades, even if others domestically didn't view him that way.

Following on the heels of Bush II - whose blatant ignorance of world affairs was ridiculed globally via producing daily calendars quoting his idiotic quotes - Obama was seen as a welcome relief, demonstrating the US occasionally produces intelligent and highly informed individuals to lead its nation.

Trump's presidency proved US citizens could be just as blindly gullible, politically stupid and morally corrupt - defending the indefensible - as Germany's citizens were decades ago.
