That's the truth at a 2nd grade level. Later on, it gets more complex.

About which, see Forrest Valkai's video on the subject:

"Complexity hurts these people's brains."

That sounds like an insult. I would imagine that the mods will swoop in and put you in imgflip TimeOut™?

Except that you pretty much just proved OM's point with your "Evolution is impossible . . . the only other rational option is Special Creation" argument.

That's the truth on every level, unless you're a godless fool, as this "scientist" proves rather quickly. What I love best about him in this video is how he immediately starts off with a smug, arrogant attitude vs approaching this from an intellectual standpoint. That is akin to a speaker, who, knowing he is about to make a weak point, has in his notes "pound the podium!".

Acting superior does not equate to having a superior viewpoint.

His first problem is that "we are animals", which is simply untrue. Him saying is with emphasis does not make it any more true.

Start thinking for yourself. Evolution is scientifically shown to be impossible, whether arrogant "scientists" like this child accept it or not, and the only other rational option is Special Creation. Everything about this is pure opinion and supposition, based on personal morays and biases.

Wow, so you're what -- a plant? A fungus? A bacterium?

I'm sorry if his manner grates, but his facts are solid, and he backs them up with his sources. And, wow, if you can't wrap your head around evolution, I can see how this video is too challenging for you.

You're making an assumption. I have, in fact, taken an anthropology course that covered human evolution. It's a thing.

"You're making an assumption. I have, in fact, taken an anthropology course that covered human evolution. It's a thing."

It's a theory, and while it's been some time since I took official courses, I have continued to study it in depth on my own. There is more than enough material to counter the nonsense you've been taught. Saying "it's a thing" is not proof, and no, I do not expect you to attempt to prove something this complex. I can research on my own. The difference here is that I went from buying into evolution, to seeing it as the inferior theory that it is.

You cannot say that you know anything if you have not exposed yourself to the criticism of the theory.

Give it a try. I know when I first delved into this more deeply, it felt very much like taking a long walk off a short pier- I had no idea how void of reality evolution truly was.

Here: this is much better than a youtube citation. The late Stephen Jay Gould was an evolutionary biologist with quite the cv. He's also a lovely writer.

Whatever research you've done on Youtube doesn't stack up.

Ahh, Stephen Jay Gould. He was gem. Gone too soon.
I didn't agree with punctuated equilibrium, but watched whenever he was on.

His humanity and wit come through so well in his writings.

"with quite the cv"

An argument from authority. I would much rather hear from your expert knowledge.

As for my research being limited to YouTube, it more certainly goes well beyond that. AND, my research may well extend further back than you have been alive.

It will take more than a single anthropology course to convince me that all of my work of the last number of decades was for naught.

Speaking of which, when ARE you going to post these 'facts' you been referring to for months about myths being more science than science instead of YubeTube links that no one will look at?
I'm asking for a friend.

Actual drumsticks have worn out on that eternal roll out,,,

But meanwhile, a line of shrews became lemurs then monkees then lost their tails while becoming more adept at standing upright on occasion then became fully bipedal except when young never happened, but the last one of the only two lads on Earth went forth to the land of Nod, got a wife, and settled an entire city consisting of the kids he begat.
Yup, that makes sense.

Post the facts? You mean actual science?

Not a chance- I don't have time to rewrite the material to add pictures of big butts and books in to keep your attention.

The sheer splendidness of your dodge notwithstanding n such, when ARE you going to post these 'facts' you been referring to for months about myths being more science than science instead of YubeTube links that no one will look at?

"Then why can't people like you use actual science to support your position?"

He keeps referring to some argument up his sleeve and in a way as if it tears actual facts apart, yet he won't state them. It's be months. When's the reveal?

"the liberals mods, of which many believe you are one"

All of the mods have an "M" next to their username. Do you see an "M" next to my username?

"It is an unfortunate function of this site that once you comment or even up/down vote a meme, you receive notices every time someone else does something"

Funny thing, that

"An argument based on an appeal to authority is a fallacious one"

I didn't make one and neither did anyone else here

"I qualify as a scientist, and most likely far better than you do"

Haha. Good one 😂

"I set my personal biases aside some years ago"

No you didn't. Your religion is your bias. Everything you say, do, read, think, or see has to be filtered through your religion. If you had actually set your personal biases aside, you wouldn't have to line up your thinking with the Bible and try to make everything fit with it.

If you're such an expert on science, please explain scientifically how humans are not classified taxonomically as animals. And please explain how "Special Creation" is scientifically testable.
