Uranium produces all kinds of emissions and radioactive waste that the only way to get rid of it is to shoot it into the sun.

Which is easier, launching a rocket to the sun, or digging hundreds of thousands of miles into the earth, deeper than has ever been dug?

the latter. any rocket launched towards the sun will need about 8 years worth of fuel supply. and we're thinking about doing it now of all times, when gas prices are at least twice as high as they were previously
